Objective To study expression and location of a novel gene that might be related to cell differentiation in normal tissues,cancer tissues and cell lines.Methods\ Northern blotting method was used to detect the expression of the gene in 10 embryo tissues,6 cancer cell lines,4 cancer tissues.The immunohistochimical method was used to detect the gene location.Results\ The gene showed high level expression in embryo tissue,cancer tissue and cell line of human,the expression in normal tissue and paratumor tissue decrease obviously.The gene is located on the membrane of K 562 cell.Conclusion\ The gene may play an important role in cell differentiation and carcinogenesis.
