As one of the four model animals,zebrafish(Danio rerio) has been widely used in researches on embryology,developmental biology,reproductive toxicology and molecular biology.But merely a handful of studies have been reported on its reproductive endocrinology and environmental toxicology.This paper summarized the development of studies on reproductive endocrinology in zebrafish as a model animal.
