Abstract:
Because of their multiple advantages as mammalian models for molecular genetic manipulation, rodents have been widely used for experimental models of eye diseases. In recent years, scholars have proposed a variety of new method to quantify animal vision based on previous qualitative method. In this paper, we discuss the detection method used in animal visual electrophysiology and their application in rodent models.
