Abstract:用改进的细胞遗传学方法制备染色体标本,鉴定了小鼠晚期桑椹胚(晚桑)、囊胚和扩展囊胚(扩囊)的性别。在实验中,利用小鼠早期胚胎染色体标本制备的理想实验参数,鉴定了242枚小鼠晚桑、囊胚和扩囊的性别,性别鉴定成功率分别为80.4%、99.0%和94.5%。以细胞遗传学方法鉴定小鼠早期胚胎性别的结果为标准,得出用间接免疫荧光法和PCR(聚合酶链反应)扩增SRY(y染色体的性别决定期)部分序列法分别鉴定100枚和26枚小鼠胚胎性别的准确率相应地为74.0%和92.3%。

Abstract:A rat model of lack of estradiol ( E2 ) was established by X-ray irradiation to ovaries. It was found that the reduction of E2 level in serum, increase of interleukin 2 ( IL-2 ) secretion and hyperplasia of lymphocytes. There was also a negative correlation between the level of E2 in serum and IL-2 production(r= -0.952, P<0.0005). The model would be a good subject for the associated research between estrogen and immune system.

Abstract:The effect of contraceptive drugs as inducing agents with accurate quantities of estrogenic hormone on weaned Wistar rats sexual precocity were studied.The results showed that there are much changes in false sexual precocity of weaned rats such as body weight, mammary gland, vaginal orifice, epithelial cells of vagina, ovaries and uterus, which are similar to those of the human beings.Ho wever, there are no different in adrenal, pituitary and thyroid gland in both two groups.

Abstract:We have successfully established an animal model of human laryngeal carcinona in BALB/cA nude mice by transplanting subcutaneously small tissue fragments derived fron patient. The tumor tissue was serially trans-planted for 13 generations during 14 months.The tumor incidence for the first generation was 66.7% ( 2/3 ) and in the following generations 100% ( 27/27 ) .Rapid and stable growth was found from the third generation and the characteristic tissue structure of the laryngeal tumor was well retained in the transplanted tumors.The nude mice model would be useful for the basic and experimental therapeutic studies of laryngeal carcinoma.

Abstract:Sixteen inbred strains of mice and seven inbred strains of rats had been introduced from foreign countries since 1985, and were maintained in plastic film isolators in our institute. All of these strains, as foundation colonies, were kept according to a modified parallel line system with full brother-sister mating, accompanied with complete pedigree records including breeding record cards, pedigree charts and pedigree books. Up to now, except three mice and one rat strains which were extinct before 4 generations, all other strains survived to 11-22 generations. The environmental conditions for the animals were carefully controlled, including temperature, humidity, microbiological status and nutrition. The reproductive performance and body weight growth of these strains were observed, and data obtained here were different from previous reports to some extent. The results showed that many environmental factors could affect reproduction and development of the inbred strains. These effects must be taken into cosideration when the animals are used in long ter n experiments involved in animal reproduction and growth.

Abstract:Sixty-six old rats were divided into 22 blocks by randomized block design.Three rats in each block were randomized into group SSR ( fed on feed containing SSR; white atractylodes rhizome. poria, ginseng, medicated leaven, tangerine peel, amomum fruit germinated barley, haw thorn fruit, Chinese yam, nutmeg, aucklandia root, astragalus root, and liquorice), group vit.E(fed on feed containing vit.E) , and control group ( fed on basic feed only) . After 90 days'feeding, the differences among 3 groups were compared by the following values:on rats in blocks 1-22,the differences of superoxide dismutase ( SOD ) , serum total cholesterol ( TC), high-density lipoprotein (HDL), and low-density lipoprotein ( LDL ) before and after experiments; on rats in blocks 1-11, the ability to resist fatigue; and on rats in blocks 12-22, the ability to tolerate hypoxia. The results showed: SSR had effects of raising SOD ( P<0.001 ) , lowering TC(P<0.05), and increasing HDL ( P<0.001) ,and a tendency to raise the ratio of HDL/ TC, and also could promote the ability of hypoxia tolerance ( P<0.05 ) , and fatigue resistance ( P<0.01)in old rats.Vit.E had effects of increasing SOD(P<0.001) , and HDL ( P<0.001 ) . and could promote the ability,of hypoxia tolerance(P<0.01)in old rats.Hence ,the objective of strengthening the spleen and stomach to counteract senility has been further proved, and experimental evidence has been provided for the theory that a healthy spleen and stomach would lead to "chang you tian ming" ( longevity ) .

Abstract:通过荷瘤小鼠实验,确定荷Lewis肺癌的NIH小鼠作肿瘤热疗模型是可行的。应用这个模型,进行加温合并药物以及热耐受性的实验研究。结果表明:1.喜树碱16mg/kg合并43℃加温25min,治疗有相加作用,2.斑螯素0.45mg/kg或消瘤芥0.75mg/kg合并43℃加温25min,治疗有协同作用,3.去甲斑螯酸钠3mg/kg对Lewis肺癌无治疗作用,但合并43℃加温25min有协同作用,4.在43℃加温25min后,Lewis肺癌迅速产生热耐受性,在24h达到最大值,然后逐渐减弱。热耐受性的存在,减弱第二次加温或热化疗的治疗效果。
