Abstract:etroviral vectors were used to introduce p53 gene. TNF-a gene orTNF-a/IL-6 genes into hnman bladder cancer cells ( E-J. BIU-87 ) . Success-ful gene integration and expression were determined by Northern hybridization.Different levels of TNFa activity of the cultnre supernatant of the cellstransduced with TNFa gene were detected by L929 bioassay.The growth rateof the tumor cells was not significantly suppressed by TNFa gene transfer,but tumor formation in BALB/c nude mice was obviously delayed, in whichthe effects revealed no difference between TNFa producers and TNFa/IL-6producers. No tumors was found in BALB/c nude mtce 9 weeks afterp53 gene-transduced cell inoculations. Expression of H-ras mRNA of the tu-mor cells transduced with p53 gene was significantly lower than the controls.

Abstract:对大熊猫消化道的消化、吸收区段作扫描电镜观察后表明:(1)胃粘膜上皮细胞排列疏松,细胞表面具微绒毛,(2)十二指肠绒毛呈指状,表面凸凹不乎;绒毛表面具丰富的微绒毛,微绒毛表面粗糙,末端膨大。(3)直肠段具丰富的绒毛结构,表面不平滑,具颗粒状物质,但无微绒毛存在:直肠腺丰富。

Abstract:本文报告用拉赫钝缘叮咬豚鼠后a-醋酸萘酯酶(ANAE)阳性率于第3天较对照组有明显降低,14d仍低于正常值水平。认为酯酶染色法测定T淋巴细胞ANAE阳性率的高低可作为判定细胞免疫功能的一项指标。

Pathohistologically, the li-ver and the spleen contain numerous tissue necrotic areas different in degreeEosinophilic cytoplasmic inclusion bodies in groups which have clear bordercan be demonstrated in rash in the epidermal cells of the skin, eyelidsand the liver.By means of ABC dyeing and utilizing the antibody of poxvirusof mice, the position of the poxvirus of mice in the tissue can be diagnosed.Both in the rapidly fatal form and in the rapid period of the chronicform of the mousepox, the antibody of poxvirus of mice can be positive.

Abstract:应用SIVmac毒株感染中国恒河猴13只,感染剂量为病毒液的10-1~2×10-5;感染食蟹猴4只,感染剂量为10-2。感染后2周出现各种症状和体征如皮疹,浅表淋巴结肿大,脾肿大,血象白细胞总数下降,出现异常淋巴细胞和中性白细胞。感染后期T4下降,T4、T8比例倒置等。从外周血淋巴细胞和血浆分离病毒阳性,血清抗体上升。淋巴结组织切片呈规律性改变,即淋巴滤泡增生-滤泡耗竭-淋巴组织耗竭或逐渐恢复。感染后2.5个月有急性死亡病例,以后呈散在死亡例,尸检还发现机遇性感染如肺寄生虫,肺、肝巨细胞病毒感染等。

Abstract:he subnephritogenic dose of nephrotoxic serum was injected into therat that was preimmunized with normal rabbit IgG in complete Freund's adju-vant eight days before.The results showed that the proteinuria of the ratwas obvious on the first day, and the peak proteinuria occurred on the thirdday.On the 21th day, serum creatinine ( Scr ) was significantly enhanced.The renal histological changes:By immunofluorescence, the main findings onthe first day was thedeposition of rat IgG, C3 and rabbit IgG along CBM.By light microscopy, the number of the cells in the glomerulus on the firstday was significantly increased, with endothelial cells swollen and neutroph-ils infiltrated.On the 7th, 14th, 21th days, the mesangium of the glomerulcapillaries ware widened; mesangial cells proliferated, and there were infi-ltration of inflammatory cells in the interstium.CBM was thicker by PASM stain.By electron microscopy,there were electronic dense deposits in GBM.Thefoot processes of epithelial cell disappeared. The capillary lumens wereblocked by thrombi.In the interstitium: there were inflammatory cells andfibrosis .

Abstract:imb deformity was found in SPF KM stock,whichis due to the increaseof inbreeding coefficent after caeserean operation.The skeletal deformities ofKM-ld appear to be confined to the portions of limbs below the elbows andknees.The tibia and fibala and the ulne and radius are shorter than that ofnormalones,or replaced by single curved bones in soine homozygotes.Preaxialpolydactyly and syndactyly of hindfeet were also found in most KM-ld hom-ozygotes.Among 138 KM-ld mice,42% were combined with anomalies of lefturogenital system, including anephrogenesis,hydronephrosis and hydroureter inthe left side.Breeding analysis data are 21 :121 (X2 3.16) by intercrosses and14:27 ( X20.04 ) by backcrosses. Therefore,ld is autosome single gene recessiveinherited and KM-ld stock will be useful model in biomedical research.

Abstract:at lenses were incubated for 24 hours in vitro and there were four cat-aractogenic agents or trinitrotoluene, galactose,sodium selinite and pingyang-mycin in respective medium.At the same time Chinese medical herb CB whichwas considered to play some role in the prevention and treatment of cataractwas added in culture well in order to observe curative effect of CB andvitamin C was used as control. It was found that the content of nonproteinsulfhydryl group was obviously increasd, cross-linking of protein sulfhydrylwas inhibited and disulfide in insoluble proteins of rat lenses was decreasedafter putting Chinese medical CB in medium. Chinese medical herb CB maybe used to prevent and cure cataract in future. Further research isnow in progress.

Abstract:lateau pika (Ochotona curizoniae) is a new laboratory animalwhich has just been developing. It has good adaptation to hypoxiaenvironment of Qinghai-xizang Plateau. Some blood indicies of domesticatedplateau pika was measured and compared with the same indicies of wildplateau pika and other laboratorial animals in this paper.The erythrocyte number(3.5 X 106/ l) ,Hb content ( 133 . 1 g/l ) , hematocrit( 0.4421 /1 ) and mean Hb concentration per erythrocyte ( 308.8g/l ) of thedomesticated plateau pika are higher statistically than those of wild ones.The reason of this phenomenon is mainly because of the anaemia of the wildpika caused by coccidia and other parasites.By comparing to human andsome other laboratorial animals, plateau pika has higher erythrocyte number;close hematocrit and Hb content; smaller size and mean volume of erythro-cyte; and less mean Hb concentration per erythrocyte.The higher number and smaller volume of the erythrocyte make thepika to have larger efficacious reactive area of the erythrocyte.For plateaupika, this improves the utilization ratio of Hb and the capacity for the Hbto take and to release oxygen. It is considered as one of the mechanismsthat plateau pika can well adapt hypoxia environment.
