    • Studies on the Expression of SIV Core P27 Gene inE . coli

      1995(1).

      Abstract (523) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (0) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:IV core P27 gene was directly amplified from the monkey's PBMCinfected with SIVmac by method of PCR. The P27 gene was digestedwith EcoRI and SalI, and inserted into the EcoRI and Sall site of the exp-ression vector PBV220. The recombinant plasmid named PBVSG was vertifiedby DNA sequencing. When the expression plasmid PBVSG was transferred toE.coli DH5a and then induced at 40 , a product with the expected molec-ular weight ( 27KD ) was observed, which was approximately 14.5%of the total bacterial proteins. By Western blotting, the expressed proteinretained the reactivity with the SIV P27 monoclonal antibody and thespecific anti-SIV serum antibody in SAIDS model monkeys.

      1995(1).

      Abstract (713) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (0) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:n this paper, some kinds of disease and causes of the death in captivecotton-top tamarin, saddle-back tamarin and common marmoset are ana-lysed for eight years The study that common diseases of the deathwere pneumonia, enteritis (or diarrhea) , wasting marmoset syndrome, dystocia, other causes of the death of them Were abortion, killedby parent, stillborn, and so on. The authors summarized the effectivemeasures to cure and prevent these diseases, and discussed various causesof the death of them. It was essential to the feeding and breeding ofcal litrichids, and to increasing survival rate and decreasing mortality.

    • Microstimulation Mapping of the Motor CorticalRepresentations in Wistar Rats

      1995(1).

      Abstract (869) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (0) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:otor cortical representations of the body parts in 15 Wistar rats weredetermined using intracortical microstimulation technique under ketamineanaesthesia. The stimulus parameters were a train of 0.25ms cathodal pul-ses at 350Hz with the maximum current of 80A. The results showed thatthe great majority of evoked muscular responses were contralateral. Altho-ugh there was considerable variability in the size of the representationalmaps between the subjects, tha relative location of subdivisions was const-ant. Within the subdivisioas ( such as riorelimb area ) , however, no topo-graphical arrangement was evident. In soine rats roustral forelimb areasdid exist but none were roustral hindlimb areas found. Comparison of ourresults with those in the literature suggests that the motor cortex of theWistar rat is less specialized than that of Long-Evans hooded rats.

    • Variations of GLUT in NIDDM Chinese Hamsterpancreatic islets and liver tissue

      1995(1).

      Abstract (531) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (0) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:fter the pancreatic islets were isolated from the Chinese Hamster bycollagenase digestion, the membrance of the islets and liver cells wereprepared by ultracentrifuge, gel electrophoresis and Western blotting. TheGLUT were determined by immunoreaction and the unine glucose concentra-tions of the serum glucose, insulin and the urine glucose were also determined in the same experiment. The results showed that after pathogenesisof the NIDDM, the quantity of GLUT in pancreatic islets were signifi-cantly reduced and the immunoreaction of the GLUT with antibodieswere also weakened. However, there are no significant difference inthe liver GLUT and in the members of the pancreas islets GLUT.But theconcentrations of glucose in urine and serum and the serum insulin weresignificantly increased after pathogenesis of the NIDDM in Chinese Ham-ster .

Abstract:hree general of mosquitoes were fed with HBV-DNA positive humanblood, and bit tupaia belangeri tree shrew The animal models with HBVinfection were obtained. Aften 1 to 2 months, the tupaia belangeri becamethin, hairless and higher mortality due to imporper feeding -nutrition.The dispensations were changed to feed nutrition, according to Nutrientsdesign. The balance pellet feed night increase vitality of Tupaia belangerwith HBV infection.

    • The Immunosuppressive and AntioxidativeEffect of Berbamine

      1995(1).

      Abstract (618) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (0) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:n this paper, the immunosuppressive effect and antioxidative effect ofBerbamine were studied. We found that Berbamine with the dose of 25mg/kg.7days, ip, could markedly decrease the amount of hepatic lipid peroxida-tion and enhance SOD activity of peripheral blood and cardiac muscle inmice, it also could decrease the responses of delayed-type supersensitivereaction and that of mixed lymphocytes reaction induced by allogenic anti-gen .The test of allogenic skin transplantation showed that Berbamine ( 50mg/kg.7days)could prolong the surviving time of grafting in mice.Further-more,it showed that Berbamine could also decrease the ratio of CD4 /CD8 subsets of murine spleen T lymphocytes by FACS analysis which might beone of the mechanism of its immunosuppressive effect.

    • Western Blotting for Monitoring Hantavirus Antibodiesof Rats and Comparison with indirectImmunofluorescent Antibody

      1995(1).

      Abstract (533) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (0) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:e developed Hantaanvirus ( 76-118) recombinant nucleocapsid protein( rNP ) as an antigen for Western Blotting ( WB ) to detect the antibodyVero E6 cell by Seoul virus (SR-11 ) as an antigen.Bb WB, 3 of 4 sera, butonly 1 of 4 by IFA, showed to be IgM antibody positive at the day 3 postinfection. The sera showed antibody titer of 1 :5120 by IFA and By WB.However, the sera showed a clear pattern even which was diluted from1 : 10 to 1 : 40969. The two methods were applied as the serologicalconfirmation of Hantavirus infection in 64 laboratory rats sera.By IFA,44 of 64 sera showed a strong IFA to infected Vero cell antigen, but, noneshowed a speciffc pattern by WB method. In addition, 30 of 64 sera alsoreacted with noninfected Vero cell antigen .The results demonstrated that thesensitivty and specificity of WB was suggested hiatsher than that of IFAtest. It was considered that the nonspecific immunofluorescence was theresponse to the cellular component.
