Abstract:Amid escalating global technological competition and the national push for "new quality productive forces," cultivating exceptional, innovative medical talent has become crucial for national strategic security. However, the current teaching of Laboratory Animal Science in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery often faces challenges such as a disconnect from cutting-edge technologies, an overemphasis on technical operations at the expense of humanistic care, and insufficient awareness of national biosafety. These issues hinder its alignment with the developmental needs of the "New Medical Education" initiative. Consequently, this study explores the reconstruction of the ideological and political education system within this curriculum by analyzing the logical convergence between specialized experimental teaching and the core features of new quality productive forces: "high technology, high efficiency, and high quality." By breaking the barriers between technical training and value shaping, we establish a novel "knowledge-ability-value" educational framework. This framework systematically integrates ideological and political modules focused on original innovation, bioethics, and resource sovereignty. Furthermore, it incorporates smart digital teaching tools, an interdisciplinary faculty team, and a comprehensive "process-innovation-value-added" dynamic evaluation loop. Ultimately, this system aligns professional training with ideological education to cultivate outstanding physician-scientists equipped with original innovation capabilities, refined surgical skills, and a strong sense of patriotism, thereby providing solid talent support for the self-reliance and advancement of national biomedical science and technology.
