The SAIDS model was established by intravenous iroculation with SRV -1 liquid cilture in eight jaivenile Rhesus monkeys. According to the liter-at are and clinical symptoms and signs, virological, pathological and im-munological changes of SADS, there are three types oi SAIDS in experiment: fatal, persistent and recovery. Besides those we proposed the fourth infected type based on the low titer of neutralized antibody and persistent viremia. Five types of lymph node changes in SAIDS, which may be considered to be histopathological prognosis of SAIDS. The SAIDS model would be a good subject for human AIDS and SAIDS research.
