    Abstract:

The Serum electrolytes and lipids of spontaneous NIDDM and normal control Chinese Hamster, which have been breeding in our laboratory, were tested by using regular quantitative analysis methods respechvely in this paper. The results showed that the average concentrations of surum Na , Cl -,Ca 2 , P 3- , Glu, Ua, TG and Tc in spontaneous NIDDM Chinese hamster were significant higher than that of them in normal control Chinese hamster(P<0.05 or P<0.01). The results of the present paper suggested that there are serious electrolytes and lipid metabolism disorder occurred with the disease of spontaneous NIDDM in Chinese hamster.
