Premature Ovarian Failure (POF) is a classic heterogeneous disease with different causes. In recent years, studies show there has been a significant increase in its incidence. POF seriously affect physical and memtal health of women. Finding a perfect and reliable animal model plays an important role in POF research. This review summarized the relatively successful animal models established by researchers at home and abroad and discussed their advantages and disadvantages briefly.
