In recent decades, great development has been achieved in the education and training of laboratory animal personnel in China. The current situation of national education and training of laboratory animal personnel is reviewed in this paper, and the future efforts presented below include:further perfecting the multi -level education and training systems, implementing uniform andstandardized program for .Professional education and training; improving the teaching and researchconditions, stabilizing professional members; and strengthening the ability of commanding information, promoting international and internal exchange of laboratory animal science.
