In recent years , cerebral ischemia reperfusion animal models have been successfully established in many species such as monky,dog, rat,rabbit, swine,etc.Each animal model has its advantages and disadvantages. Using reasonable animal model may make it better to carry on the laboratory and clinical study of cerebral ischemia reperfusion.
