Through the gene expression and overexpression, transgenic animal models were established. This paper introduced some transgenic animal models and their characters, concerning with lipometabolism genes such as scavenger receptor gene SR-A, SR-B1 and SR-CD, apolipoprotein genes ApoE, ApoA, ApoB and ApoC, enzyme and transit protein genes like CETP and LPL.
