Ventilation and air- conditioning system of all fresh airflow is usually adopted in the SPF experimental animal facility. In order to retrieve the energy of heat or cool of the system's exhausted airflow, which can be used again to heat or cool the fresh airflow in advance, gravitative low temperature heat pipe transdcers was installed in the ventilation system. Several years running has proved that it can reach the purposes of retrieving energy.
