Coronary heart disease is one of common severe diseases to humans.Myocardial infarction model may provide important application in research on coronary heart disease.Animal model of myocardial infarction may lay a good basis for studies on pathology,pathophysiology,biochemistry,hemodynamics and hemorheology of myocardial infarction.In this article we reviewed the method,assessment and principle in establiment of animal models of myocardial infarction.
