Objective To compare the skin of BAMA miniature pig with human's.Methods\ Skin samples from BAMA miniature pigs and human were excised and the morphology of the skin was examined by light microscope and immunohistochemical method.Resemblance and disparity between BAMA miniature pig and human was found and described.Results\ The layer,the layer thickness,the dermal-epidermal interface,the cyto-distribution,the structure of extracellular matrix were similar between BAMA miniature pig skin and those of human.Conclusion\ BAMA miniature pigs can be used as models of wound repair and drug permeation,it also can be used as materials to prepare dermal substitute for wound repair.
