Objective To establish an animal model which is similar to the pathological process of transplanted vein-bridge stenosis after coronary artery bypass graft(CABG).Methods Rabbit underwent interposition of the external jugular into the common carotid artery in a end-to-end fashion.Results One month after operation,lumen of vein-bridge stenosis was observed and histology exams showed that new intim was formatted.Conclusion This model can truly reflect the conditions of vein-bridge stenosis after CABG.
