Spinal fusion is one of the key research topics in spinal surgery.Experimental animal studies on spinal fusion are progressing rapidly.The animal species selection,experiment methodology,experimental materials,and evaluation methods are major focuses in this field of study.In this paper,a systematic review of the literature on spinal fusion of those aspects is carried out.
