Safe handling of animal carcasses is an important part of ensuring laboratory safety during work in the high level of bio-safety laboratory． International methods to handled laboratory animal carcasses include incineration，basic hydrolysis，reverse polymerization and rendering． Detailed description of animal carcasses processing technology which is more suited to China's national conditions are introduced in the article． Discussions are also focused on issues should be noted during domestic research of laboratory animal carcasses treatment process recently．
