Esophageal variceal bleeding is critically ill patients, usually urgent medical conditions, and high mortality. How the prevention and control of bleeding, prevent further bleeding, reduce mortality, is still the focus and the difficulties in the present study. In this paper, esophageal varices establish animal models are reviewed.
