Abstract:Cardiovascular disease has been a serious threat to human life, and oxidative stress is an important factor in the occurrence and development of cardiovascular disease. The construction of reliable animal models of oxidative stress is helpful for in-depth study of the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases and the development of therapeutic drugs. Zebrafish, with the advantages of easy reproduction, short developmental cycle, transparent embryos for easy observation, and highly homologous cardiovascular gene background with humans, has often been used in recent years for research related to the field of cardiovascular diseases. In this paper, we focus on the application of zebrafish oxidative stress model in cardiovascular disease and the related research progress, which provides reference for its further application in cardiovascular disease related research.
