In recent years, with the rapid development of the laboratory animal industry, China's laboratory animal standardization efforts have achieved significant progress. This article first introduces China's laboratory animal standard system and the organizational structure of laboratory animal standards, with a focus on summarizing the current status and characteristics of national standards, industry standards, local standards, group standards, and enterprise standards for laboratory animals. It analyzes the content structure and layout of China's laboratory animal standards and discusses the existing issues in the country's laboratory animal standardization work. The author's research team proposes relevant countermeasures and recommendations, such as "further clarifying the hierarchical structure of the laboratory animal standard system, improving the laboratory animal standard system, establishing an laboratory animal standard evaluation mechanism, and creating a coordination mechanism between local and group standards," aiming to provide reference and guidance for future laboratory animal standardization efforts.
