    评估海南医科大学对医学生通过多种形式系统化地开展实验动物福利与伦理教育在实际教学中的教学效果,为培养高素质高质量的医学人才打下坚实的基础。通过对比开课前(n=289)及结课后(n=296)的调查数据发现,学生对实验动物伦理问题“非常关注”的比例由6.2%显著提升至34.8%(P<0.001),对动物福利“十分掌握”的比例由1.7%增至62.8%(P<0.001);课程必要性认同方面,“十分重要”的比例由76.1%上升至91.2%(P<0.001);在动物实验态度方面,主张“优先使用模拟替代”的比例由15.9%大幅提高至63.9%(P<0.001);专业分层比较进一步显示,核心医学专业学生对“实验动物为重要学习途径”的认同度提升更为显著(增幅28.7%vs18.5%),而相关专业学生在“支持实验动物祭奠活动”方面的态度转变更为明显(增幅41.2%vs32.1%)。说明该动物伦理教育形式让医学生的实验动物伦理认知的态度得到显著提升,但在教学研究中有亟待完善的空间,如课程内容需优化、辐射人群有限、与现代教育技术的有效结合等都需进一步探讨。

    Abstract:

    This paper explores the effect of Hainan Medical University's systematic education on experimental animal welfare and ethics for medical students through various forms in practical teaching, so as to lay a solid foundation for cultivating high-quality medical talents. By comparing the survey data before (n=289) and after (n=296) classes, it is found that the proportion of students who are "very concerned" about the ethical issues of experimental animals has increased significantly from 6.2% to 34.8%(P<0.001), and the proportion of students who are "very familiar" with animal welfare has increased from 1.7% to 62.8% (P < 0.001). In the recognition of curriculum necessity, the proportion of "very important" increased from 76.1% to 91.2% (P < 0.001); In the aspect of animal experiment attitude, the proportion of advocating "giving priority to analog substitution" has greatly increased from 15.9% to 63.9% (P < 0.001). The comparison of professional stratification further shows that the recognition of "experimental animals as an important way of learning" among students majoring in core medicine has improved more significantly (with an increase of 28.7%vs18.5%), while the attitude of students majoring in related fields has changed more obviously (with an increase of 41.2%vs32.1%). It shows that this form of animal ethics education has significantly improved medical students' attitude towards experimental animal ethics cognition, but there is room for improvement in teaching research, such as the need to optimize the course content, the limited radiation population, and the effective combination with modern educational technology.
