Objective To formulate national or trade standards of individually ventilated cages(IVC),physical parameters of IVCs from different factories were tested.Methods\ The IVCs were tested according to the standards of GB 14925,90/219/EEC and 98/81/EC.Results\ Compared with barrier facility,the noise of the IVCs is higher;parameters of gradient pressures and cleanse were greatly floating.Conclusion\ Standards of IVC should be carefully determined and can not be simply copied from those of laboratory animal barrier facilities.
