Objective To observe the effects of blood sample preparation methods on biochemical values. Methods By using automatic biochemical analyzer, the biochemical values of blood samples prepared by different methods were compared, Results Some biochemical values of blood samples prepared by different methods were significantly different. Conclusion it is important to unify the preparation methods for blood samples in animals during chronic toxicity testing studies.
