    Abstract:

    The nude mice are provided with important characteristics such as hairless, naked and without thymus gland. Therefore they are widely applied for research in the dermatology and dermatotoxicology, such as skin transplantation, psoriasis, skin aging and transdermal delivery systems, and so on. In this paper, animal model of dermatosis based on nude mice and the use of nude mice in dermatotoxicology are described and the prospective development is also discussed.
