Liver cancer animal models are impertant experimental tools in. studies on liver cancer and to certify targeting drug delivery system. However, in current reports on certificated targeting praeparatum the use of animal models is uncommon. This paper reviewed studies on the model types, features, shortcomings and the application of anti-liver targeting agents animal model, and made more suitable for application of the present models. Application of liver cancer animal models can provide biological characteristics of liver cancer similar to that in patients with liver cancer, and provide reliability of pharmacokinetic indicators for preparation of liver targeted delivery.
