    Abstract:

Heparin-binding epidermal growth factor-like growth factor ( HB-EGF) is a member of the epidermal growth factor (EGF) family. HB-EGF is a potent mitogen for a number of cell types and has been implicated in a variety of physiological and pathological processes, including myocardial remodeling, fibroblast hyperplasia and collagen expression. In this review, the HB-EGF in myocardial remodeling was summarized.
