Abstract Objective: To explore particular management requirement on goats’ experimental implantation of left ventricular assist device(LVAD). Methods: Through the ten successful implementation of the LVAD on goats, considering with the characteristics of the animals and in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the administration of experimental animals, the managements were formulated on aspects of the perioperative environmental control and postoperative special management to ensure the normal operation. Results: Through the science rigorous management practice, succeeds to implement 10 cases of goat implantation type left heart auxiliary unit (LVAD) surgeries, guarantees the normal operation of surgery.
