Abstract:An EDIM broken out in BALB/c and NIH mice from December 1987 to January 1988. It was identified that EDIM was caused by the pathogen-murine rotavirus. The disease revealed the characteristics of acute diarrhea and rectal impacting. Autopsy showed fluid feces and gases in the colon, and the stomach filled with crude milk.

Abstract:分别以2mol/L的甘油,二甲基亚砜和乙二醇做防冻剂对昆明小鼠桑椹胚和早期囊胚进行冷冻保存,并在同剂量防冻剂中分别添加了0.5mol/L蔗糖进行对照实验;将胚胎在-20、-25、-30℃投入液氮,观察其对胚胎冷冻效果的影响。结果表明:2mol/L乙二醇和2mol/L甘油 0.5mol/L蔗糖处理组冷冻效果最好;在-30℃时投入液氮的胚胎成活率最高;将解冻后的胚胎移植给7只受体雌鼠,共得到26只仔鼠。

Abstract:用含~(123)Ⅰ心钠素的Tris·HCl缓冲液孵育10μm厚的正常肾脏切片20℃1h,然后将切片暴露于X线片和核乳胶2～3周。结果显示,放射自显影标记银粒在肾皮质内呈弥漫性斑点状分布,而在髓质分布很少,显微镜下观察银粒在肾小球内呈高密度分布(37.2±7.5/100μm~2),在肾小管则分布密度较低(17.1±3.8/100μm~2)。资料提示:心钠素受体通过增加肾小球滤过率发挥利钠和利尿作用。

Abstract:The biological characteristics of L783V/3T3 cell line were investigated. It was demonstrated that L783V/3T3 cells had no morphological and growth changes and no colonies formed in soft agar medium. Lymphocytic leukemia could be induced by inoculation of cell-free extracts from L783V/3T3 cells into Kunming strain newborn mice. The results indicated that there was no oncogene in L783-MuLV genome, L783-MuLV belonged to slow oncogenic virus.

Abstract:用塑料薄片直接浸渍和直接接触两种体外细胞培养相结合方式,进行实验动物塑料笼具的细胞毒性试验,并作扫描电镜观察。钙塑盆和再生塑料盆均有明显毒性,塑料笼具有1/4样品表现轻微毒性。扫描电镜观察表明,塑料的毒性强弱直接影响细胞表面的超微结构损伤程度。

Abstract:Serum lipid,lipoprotein and HDL-c subfractions of Mongolian gerbil were compared by enzymatic method among three different groups. One group fed high lipid diet, the second group fed high lipid diet plus Brucea javanica oil ( rich in unsaturated fat acid ) , and the third group fed basic forage as control. Compared with the control group, the high lipid diet group showed hyperlipemia. The elevation of gerbil's serum cholesterol was asso-ciated with that of LDL-c and HDL-c. The latter contained HDL2-c and HDL3-c. Serum triglyceride was also elevated. The Brucea javanica oil group showed reduced hyperlipemia, compared with the high lipid diet group The reduction of gerbil's serum cholesterol may be caused by the lowering of the cholesterol content in LDL-c and HDL-c. Serum triglyceride was also lowered. The effect is of benefit to antiatherosclerogenesis.

Abstract:Continual research and improvement on diet formula and process have been made to develop a kind of pellet. Experiment has been done in compa-rison with the German-made pellet with which the examined animal, common marmoset ( CALLITHRIX HACCHUS ) , was fed. The result shows that self-made pellet is better than the German-made one in palatability. The reproductive performance of adult marmosets and the growth performance of infant marmosets are nomal when this kind of self-made pellet is obtained .No bad effets have been found during one years feeding. The self-made pellet contains 3428 cal digestible energy and 112.5 gram digestible crude protein per kilogram. Though the protein content of this self-made pellet is much lower than that of German-made pellet, it is sufficient to meet the needs of marmosets.

Abstract:The ultrastructural changes and morphogenesis in the intestinal epithelial cells of infected BALB/c suckling mice with murine rotavirus were observed. The epithelial cells showing some huge vesicles of endoplasmic reticulum were filled with clumps of MRV and masses of lipid material. The MRV finished the process of morphogenesis in the viroplasma and inclusion, and some mic-rotubule-like structures related to replication of MRV were also described in the report.

Abstract:用所制备的复制型M13mp18和寡核苷酸(GACA)_4探针,分别与近交系AKR小鼠的9个个体及NOD小鼠的5个个体进行DNA杂交,结果提示,一种探针和近交系内各个体杂交的DNA指纹图完全一致;同一探针与不同近交系小鼠杂交的指纹图完全不同;不同探针与同一近交系小鼠杂交的指纹图也完全不同。说明用DNA指纹图分析,对建立各种实验动物标准的DNA指纹图,用于遗传监测、杂交育种、基因制图以及寻找遗传标记等均有实用价值和参考作用。

Abstract:The anatomical and the histological properties of albino Chinese hamsters were observed and compared with those of Chinese hamsters and laboratory rats and mice. The results showed that 1. The testes of the albino Chinese hamsters developed normally and were much bigger than those of the same-sized laboratory mice, so the animal might be used as a model for the test of drug reproduction toxicity and the reproduc-tive studies.2.The wall of the cheek pouch was thin and the capillaries could be seen clearly, perhaps being a good material in making researches on microcircu-lation and tumor transplantation. 3. The bronchiolar epithelium, which is different from that of rats and mice, was pseudostratified columnar in nature, and was very like that of the human race.4.The spleen was smaller as compared with that of Chinese hamsters and the white pulp was underdevelop-ed, suggesting that the immunological function might be slightly lower.5.The eyeball was approximately 3 times heavy as that of mice. and 6. The animal had not any gall bladder.

Abstract:The post-thaw development rates of the embryos frozen in the 2.0 and 3.0mol/L glycerol in PBS 20?S 0.5mol/L sucrose were 51.4% and 44.1%, significantly higher than those of other groups.The post-thaw develop-ment rate of the embryos frozen in the 0.5mol/L sucrose in PBS 20?S 2.0mol/L glycerol was 47.7%,significantly higher than that of other groups. The development rale of the embryos frozen slowly was 48.8%, significantly higher than that of embryos frozen rapidly.The post-thaw development rate of 2-cell embryos was the lowest in four stage embryos. The survival rate of morula was higher than that of 4-cell and blastocyst. The development rate of in vitro fertilized embryos was significantly lower than that of in vivo fertilized ones. A total of 112 frozen-thawed embryos obtained from in vitro fertilization were transferred to recipients, 2/9 of whom became pregnant.

Abstract:将1例BALB/c小鼠自发性乳腺癌移植到同品系小鼠皮下获成功并连续鼠间传代21代,共移植小鼠234只,成活率达100%,无自发消退现象。该瘤的移植成功率高,潜伏期短且相对稳定,肿瘤生长迅速,实验周期短;脾脏进行性肿大,脾系数与瘤系数呈明显正相关;有高发的自发性肺转移特点;长期传代维持高转移率不变。该移植瘤动物模型的建立对研究肿瘤转移的机制和宿主与肿瘤的关系有一定意义。

Abstract:SIV感染CEMx-174和HUT-78细胞后,显示出SIV对CEMx-174细胞敏感,产生明显的CPE并能杀死该细胞;SIV感染HUT-78细胞亦能引起CPE,但CPE不易与正常HUT-78细胞中的大细胞相区分;60℃加热30分钟能杀死SIV,4℃可存放2周,22℃可存放1周,-20℃存放3周滴度由1:8192分别下降到1:1024、1:16和1:2048,-70℃存放2周滴度由1:8192下降到1:4096并维持此水平2个月。

Abstract:通过笼内氨浓度和垫料含水量的测试,判断一般鼠笼和载过滤帽鼠笼的气体交换情况,结果:在24～48h期间,带过滤帽鼠笼内氨浓度由45.64μg升至133.32μg,而笼内换气方式是53.1～16.67μg,垫料含水量增加情况与氨浓度变化相似。我们认为,过滤帽阻碍笼内外气体交换,导致笼内氨浓度和湿度明显升高。而笼内换气方式能改善动物所处的微环境,并减少笼与笼之间的干扰,便于清洗和易于操作是笼内换气工艺流程设计时应加以注意的问题。

Abstract:本文测定了45只恒河猴血清蛋白质。IgG、IgM、IgA及C_3补体含量,以及外周血T淋巴细胞亚群。所测各数值均可作为该动物正常免疫学及血清化学参考值。IgG含量及外周血T_4、T_3与国外数据接近,其它数据未见详细报道。血清蛋白含量与文献报道基本一致,但本文对血清蛋白作详细分类,对各种蛋白质含量作了全面检测。

Abstract:The antimutagenic effect of garlic extract on mutagenicity of normal human peripheral blood cells induced by MMC were quantitatively detected by using in situ nick translation method and liquid scintillation counting. The results showed that garlic extract had strong antimutagenicity effect and the nick translation method provided a rapid and sensitive quantitative assay for detecting DNA damage.

Abstract:The objective of this study is to improve and simplify the method for splitting embryo. This study provides the simplest splitting method without micromanipulator. With the aid of a common stereomicroscope, embryos are bisected using a glass needle by hand. Only about one minute is required for each embryo to bisected in this way. A total of 701 four-day mouse embryos were bisected and 1346 demi-embryos (96.01%) were successfully produced.The developmental rate of demi-embryos in vitro culture is 73.70% ( divided blastocysts 72.88% and divided morulae 74.22% ) .There was no significant difference in the developmental rate of demi-embryos in vitro culture between blastocyst and morulae. The developmental rate of demi-embryos without zona pellucida in vitro culture of with 20% fetal calf serum or 20% sheep serum or 20% equine serum was 64.95%, 73.54% and 76.03% respectively. Moreover there was also no significant difference between them. The developmental rate of the frozen/ thawed demi-embryos with or without zona pellucida and demi-embryos with zona pellucida embedded in agar in vitro culture was 26.67%, 56.67% and 64.29% respectively.

Abstract:Conditions were determined for successful tumor development of NALM-6 human pre-B-ALL cells in BALB/c nude mice.Examination of the tumor tissues by immunology histology and APAAP technique demonstrated that the tumors were of leukemia origin.The results suggested that the method applied in our research had high frequency transplantation short experimental circle and easy performance.

Abstract:IDIR broke out in the suckling rats of Wistar rat colony in August 1990. The suffering rats aged 10-14 days showed main clinical symptom of acute diarrhea. It was proved to be Rotavirus by electrophoresis of PAGE and negative stain EM. We observed the morbidity and mortality of infectious suckling rats in different birth order in a colony of 840 rats. The results of morbidity was reduced by birth order.
