Abstract:Connexin genes are suggested to be a group of potential trmor- suppressors. We obtained a 1146bp cDNA fragment of NIH mouse connexin43 by areve rse transcription-DNA polymerase chain reaction. This cDNA fragment was then clo ned into pGEM plasmid.Compared with the rat, bovine and human connexin43 genes, there were some varieties among them.

Abstract:Two human carcinoma cell lines, MDA-MB-231 breast cancer a nd LAX-83 lung adenocarcinoma cell lines were xenografted in scid (severe combin ed immunodeficiency mice) and BALB/c nude mice. MDA-MB-231 cells were subcutaneo usly injected into different parts (including breastpad and costal region) adn L AX-83 only one part (costal region) of the animals. Results showed that the tota l survival rates of two cell lines were 100% (21/21) in scid, 57.1%(8/14) in BAL B/c-nu. There was asignificant difference between two strains (P<0.05). In the test of MDA-MB0231 transplantation, the Rates of lung metastasis were 100%(5/5), lymphatic metastasis 20%(1/5) with the breastpad injection, lung metastasis 50% (2/4) with costal injection in scid, and only 20% (1/5) of the lung metastasis c ould be observed with the costal injection in BALB/c-nu. In LAX-83 test, all of the carcinoma in scid did not disapear naturally. But 50% (1/20 did from BALB/c-nu. Studies suggested that scid was still better su ited for being an animal model of tumor experiments than BALB/c-nu, especially f or orthotopic transplantation of the breast cancers.

Abstract:采用人工配合饵料喂养剑尾鱼,以生长率作为评定指标,研究了剑尾鱼对蛋白质的需求量。实验表明,在一定的范围内,剑尾鱼的增重率与饵料中的蛋白质含量成正比;饵料中蛋白质的最适含量范围为35.5%~41.3%;饵料中蛋白质含量与鱼体的组成成份相关性不大。

Abstract:Objective: In the recent study , the learning and memory function, open field behavior and motor function were investigated in the rats which's bilateral carotid arteries were ligatured for 1 and 4 months. Method water maze, open field and climb rope test were applied after the rat's bilateral carotid arteries were ligatured 1 and 4 months. Results In the water maze test , the ability of learning and memory in rats after 1 and 4 months decreased significantly. In open field test, their spatial cognitive ability decreased significantly and excitability increased significantly. The ability of climb rope in the rat after operation 4 months. Conclusions The ability of learning and memory in the rats which's bilateral carotid arteries were ligatured damaged permanently, and excitability of animal increased significantly, but motor function was normal.

Abstract:20 ICR mice were inoculated with Clostridium piliformis via tail vein. Clinical signs of Tyzzer's disease in infected mice were not observed. Gr oss lesion of liver with varying severity in 10 mice treated with cortisone acet ate was observed 4 to 7 days post-infection. Typical Clostridium piliformis on s tamp preparation of postmortem liver were seen in a “pick-up-stick” arrangemen t within or beyond hepatocytes with Giemsa stain. Bacterial culture on artificia l media was negative. Meanwhile no gross lesions and Clostridium piliformis were identified both in 5 sham control mice and 10 no cortisone treatment mice, The above results suggest that inducing gross lesion of liver and Clostridium pilifo rmis propagation are associated with immunological state of experimental animals .

Abstract:Antibody to the hepatitis A virus HAV (anti-HAV IgG) were detected by ELISA in sera from 183 monkeys captive reared under different condition , and the total positive rate was 68.9%. Antibody positive rate in individual cage reared monkeys was significantly lower than that in colony reared ones (P<0.05), increasing with age. Antibody to HAV in 41 wild-caught monkeys were detected and the positive rate was 19.5%, which was significantly lower than that in captive-rearing ones (P<0.05). Abstract:Objective To study the contents of MDA in host livers of sarcoma 180 -bearing mice after hypoxyradiotherapy. Methods The contents changes of MDA were studied in BALB/c sarcoma 180 -bearing mice by TBA method after breathing 10.5% oxygen during radiotherapy. The data were analyzed using SPSS software package. Results The contents of MDA were significantly lower in host livers in hypoxyradiotherapy group than those in the control group on the 7th and 14th day after radiotherapy. (P<0.05). Conclusion Hypoxyradiotherapy can decrease MDA contents in host livers and preserve normal tissues.

Abstract:The mutant hairless mice which were discovered in Henan Me dical University were close bred to increase new laboratory mouse strains. Usin g brother-sister inbreeding with forced heterozygosity, the mice had been bred 2 3 generations. Genetic analysis of mutant character and skin isografting were do ne in the mice which were close bred more than 20 generations. The results indi cated that the mutant mice had reached the norm of inbred strain, And the mutant gene were hybrid. The new segregating inbred strains that carry normal gene and mutant gene were set up.

Abstract:A two-roomed and overlapping box was designed and made. It is not only easy, but also practical to use it to propagate Microtus fortis. Abstract:The blood sampling method in rabbit auricular veins was pe rformed by using the glass capillary twisting in auricular veins to cause a comp lete or incomplete hole in the blood vessel. This technique significantly prolon ged bleeding time and enlarged the volume of bleeding because it exerted so ligh tly injury stimulation on blood vessel that blood vessel spasm seldom happened. The volume of blood sampled amounted to over 20ml in five minutes above 23℃,wh ich meets the needs of most experiments, furthermore, blood sampling could be re peated by this method.
