Abstract:Objective To standardize the det ection culture media for bacteria in cleaning laboratory animals, three kinds o f media (DHL agar, SS agar, nutrient agar) from 6 media manufactures were selecte d. Methods 3 strains of bacteria ( Salmonella, Pasteurella Pne umot ropica, Bordetella Bronchiseptica) were used to compare and contrast quantitat ively and qualitatively. ResultsThere was no difference among the three kinds of m edia from 6 media manufactures except SS agar. SS agar from National Institute f or the Control of Pharmaceutical and Biological Products and MERCK Inc. had a s trong suppressive effect to Salmonella. Pasteurella Pneumotropica could not grow at blood agar from MERCK Inc. ConclusionBlood agar from Merck Inc. are not suitable . SS agar from National Institute for the Control of Pharmaceutical and Biological P roducts and Merck Inc are not suitable too. The remainders are eligible.

Abstract:In this experiment we selected 60 day old SPF miniature pigs, the male and female were all 10, to measure the 26 clinical normal values of hematology and serum biochemistry, the 18 clinical normal values of urine and make contrast analysis between the male and female. The results showed that the variation trend of SPF miniature pi g blood ingredients was in conformit y to blood variation trend of SPF mouse and SPF rat, RBC and Hgb higher, WBC and NEUTRO lower. LYM, NEUTROl, GLOb,ABG of the male and female had very significan t difference ( P <0.01),LYM and ABG of the female were higher than the male's, NEUTROl and GIOb of the male were higher than the female's . PLT,EO ,pH,A LB,Cl,Na,Ca,P had significant difference ( P <0.05), pH,ALB,Ca,P of the female were higher than the male's, PLT,EO,Cl,Na of the male higher than the female's . The other blood ingredients and 18 clinical normal values of urine had no diffe rence ( P >0.05).

Abstract:目的减少下颌骨形态测量的偶然性误差,提高测量精度.方法对比经典方法与计算机自动读取下颌骨各个测量点的测量精度和重复性.结果测量精度和重复性大为提高,用经典方法测量最大值为5格,标准差的最大值为1.4,而计算机测量分别为1.0和0.3,经t检验其P值分别为1.008×10-9和1.960×10-10,均小于0.01.结论用计算机测量下颌骨形态其精度和重复性均优于经典方法.

Abstract:目的 建立一种小鼠肾功能不全动物模型。方法 选取雄性小鼠随机分为正常对照组、模型小剂量组(腺嘌呤300mg/kg)和模型大剂量组(腺嘌呤600mg/kg)。每组60只动物,按0.1ml/10g体重分别灌胃给药3d,每天1次,正常对照组给予蒸馏水,模型组按上述药量给予腺嘌呤。分别在给药第7,21及35天各组随机取材,眼眶取血,分离血清进行BUN及肌酐含量测定。取肾脏常规石蜡包埋,HE染色,观察病理改变。结果 血清BUN造模后35d各模型组仍显著高于对照组2倍以上。肌酐在7d及21d时均显著高于对照组,但35d时与对照组差异已无显著性。造模后21及35d取材组织改变基本相同,可见肾脏肥大苍白,表面凹凸不平显著,重量增加。镜下可见:间质有炎细胞侵润,出现泡沫细胞,肾小球萎缩,分界不清,肾小管有蛋白管型,钙盐沉积,小剂量相对轻微。结论 腺嘌呤300及600mg/kg灌胃给药3d,小鼠肾脏组织可出现明显的肾小球及肾小管损害,同时有氮质血症,营养不良,与人类慢性肾功能不全患者的表现非常相似。这说明用腺嘌呤造成的小鼠肾功能不全模型是成功的。

Abstract:Objective To research whether th ere were developmental defects in the anterior pituitary of Tianjin Albino 3 dwa rf mi ce (dw t). Methods In this study immunocytochemical and ster eological methods were employed.ResultsThe volumetric den sity (Vv) and numerical density (Nv) of the TSH immunoreactive cells were reduce d in both male and female dw t mice as compared with those in the normal contro l mice.ConclusionIt is suggested that the number decrease of the TSH cells in dw t mice leads to the deficiency of TSH secretion.

Abstract:目的鉴定进口保健食品"纤美健”消脂纤维的减肥功能.方法利用高脂营养饲料建立了大鼠营养性肥胖模型,同时进行了一系列的减肥去脂功能实验研究.结果"纤美健”消脂纤维对小鼠无明显的急性毒性作用,LD50>10g/kg.在49d大鼠喂养试验中,四组大鼠生长发育正常,营养对照组大鼠较普通对照组体重明显增加(P<0.05),血糖明显增高(P<0.05),生殖器周围脂肪总重和脂肪系数均明显增加(P<0.05),肝脏和肾脏的脏器系数明显降低(P<0.05和P<0.01),胆固醇和甘油三脂亦有增高趋势,表明营养性肥胖模型初步建立成功;实验组大鼠较营养对照组体重增长减慢,血糖明显下降(P<0.05),胆固醇和甘油三酯也有降低的趋势,其中血糖和甘油三酯的降低尚有一定的剂量关系.高剂量组生殖器周围脂肪总重和脂肪系数明显下降(P<0.05和P<0.01),且有一定的剂量关系.结论"纤美健”消脂纤维对动物有一定的减肥去脂功能.

Abstract:Oligonucleotide primers were desi gned from Helicobactor sp. regions of the 16 s rRNA gene that are conserved a mong members of the Helicobactor genus.The assay amplified the expected 374 bp product with P7P8 and 375 bp with H1H2,but no fragment was observed with prim ers P5P6 and P9P10.The specificity of the reaction was determined by testing DNA extracted from Helicobactor of experimentally immunosuppressive rats and Escherichia coli.,Hemolyticus streptococcus,Pasteurella pneumotropica. A produc t of the expected size was generated with Helicobactor, but not with other ba cteria.PCR assay was used to detect Hilicobactor infections in Field Voles,w ith positive 10 samples out of 57 fecal pellets.In conclusion,16S rRNA-based PC R established here is useful for sensitive and specific identification of Heli cobacter in infected animals.

Abstract:Through reviewing recent experimental resear ch literature of asthma in foreign countries,a comprehensive analysis is carried out from selecting experimental animals in commom use for asthma researches to essential factors of preperation of an animal model in research work.At present d ay,the guinea pig is still the wildly used experimental animal for asthma experi ment,while the use of rats and mice is increasing day by day.On the basis of the data of literature,the property of all kinds of methods is assessed and the imp roved method is described.The detailed exposition is given to the application of animal model of asthma in the researches of mechanisms of asthma onset,especial ly the cytokines of immmne system which are related with the mechanisms.It is em phasized that experimental animals should be sensitized and chanllenged accordin g to different clinical types and purposes of the researcher.

Abstract:Some of the favourable physical and genetic cha racteristics of the zebrafish are discussed in this article, the equivalent char acteristics to the mouse which is another popular system for studies in vertebra te genetics are also listed. Abstract:Epidemic hemorrhagic fever (EHF) is a zoonoses hantaviruses-transmitted by rats in natural foci. EHF victims show the following symptoms: high fever, hemorrhage, shock and renal failure, with the c haracterization of rapid onset, high infection and high fatality. Moreover, labo ratiory animals could get the disease from the sick wild rats, which would resul t in laboratory infection with the technicians involved. It is imperative for se rum samples to be taken to monitor EHF infection as one of the quality standards of laboratory animals in China.
