    • Study on Digestibility of Two Rations Proximate Nutrients for Young Macaques

      Abstract:目的 了解实验猕猴对常用的两种日粮营养成分的消化能力 ,掌握实验猕猴对营养物质的消化特点 ,为以后设计和筛选幼猕猴的日粮配方提供参考和理论依据。方法 选择健康的 10只自繁幼猕猴 ,分为 2组 ,每组 5只 ,雌雄搭配 ,单笼饲养 ,采用全收粪法对两种日粮进行 5d消化试验 ,测定两种日粮的 8种常规营养成分的表观消化率。结果 Ⅱ组日粮的消化率除粗纤维 (CF)和磷 (P)外 ,其他养分与Ⅰ组的相当 ,Ⅱ组的总能 (GE)、粗蛋白(CP)、粗脂肪 (EE)、粗纤维 (CF)、无氮浸出物 (NFE)、灰分 (CA)、钙 (Ca)和磷 (P)的平均表观消化率 (% )分别为90 4 2、86 4 4、71 96、5 7 2 4、93 4 7、4 2 15、30 4 9和 2 9 89,Ⅰ组分别为 89 31、83 2 4、70 15、33 2 5、92 6 3、4 0 35、30 6 2和10 5 7;通过t检验 ,Ⅱ组粗纤维 (CF)的表观消化率显著高于Ⅰ组 (P <0 0 1) ,Ⅱ组的磷 (P)的表观消化率也显著高于Ⅰ组 (P≤ 0 0 1)。结果表明 ,幼猕猴对饲料Ⅱ的粗纤维 (CF)和磷 (P)的表观消化率相对较高 (P≤ 0 0 1)。结论 幼猕猴对两种日粮的营养成分都具有较好的消化性 ,但由于对钙 (Ca)、磷 (P)的利用率较低 ,且钙磷比 (Ca∶P)对钙(Ca)、磷 (P)的消化吸收有一定的影响 ,所以Ca、P的表观消化率相对较低

    • Effect of Chitosan-Collagen Biological Dressing on NO and NOS of Deep Ⅱ° Skin Burns in Rats

      Abstract:目的 研究壳聚糖胶原生物敷料 (chitosan collagenbiologicaldressing,CCBD)对大鼠深Ⅱ度烧伤创面一氧化氮 (nitricoxide ,NO)和一氧化氮合酶 (nitricoxidesynthase ,NOS)的影响及在创面愈合中的意义。方法 壳聚糖与鼠尾胶原分别按 1∶9和 1∶1配成敷料原液并制成CCBDA和CCBDB。以单纯胶原敷料组和自然愈合组作对照 ,测定大鼠 10 %深Ⅱ度烫伤后 3、7、14、2 1d的创面愈合率、创面组织蛋白和羟脯氨酸含量、NO含量和NOS活性。结果 CCBDA、B组创面愈合率较自然愈合组高 (P <0 0 5 ,0 0 1) ,CCBDB组伤后 3d和 7d时NO含量和NOS活性低于自然愈合组 (P <0 0 5 ,0 0 1)。结论 CCBD对大鼠深Ⅱ度烧伤创面有促愈合作用并呈剂量相关性 ,其促愈机制与使用CCBD后创面NO含量和NOS活性降低有关

    • Discussion of Rhesus Monkey Model of the Spontaneous Diabetes

      Abstract:Objective To study the rhesus monkey model of the spontaneous diabetes for cloning the gene of diabetes (gene transfer,gene knock-out and gene therapy) and discussing the gene function and expression. Methods The GTT (glucose tolerance test) and glycosuria test in breeding rhesus monkeys were used to choose the rhesus monkey model of the spontaneous diabetes. Results and Conclusion 3 monkeys which were abnormal in glucose tolerance test and positive in glycosuria test were screened from 100 monkeys in middle and elderly age.

    • Inhibition of Dexamethasone to Tumor Growth and Angiogenesis in Mouse H22 Model

      Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of dexamethasone on tumor growth and angiogenesis in mouse H 22 model. Methods H 22 cells were injected subcutaneously into BALB/c mice. Drug treatment began from the day of inoculation (first group) or from the fourth day after inoculation (second group). Tumor's diameters were measured every day. In the twelfth day mice were sacrificed and tumors were weighed. Tumor microvessel count was performed by immunohistochemical staining and flow cytometry assay with anti-CD31 monoclonal antibody. Results Tumor growth was inhibited by dexamethasone significantly in both groups. Both tumor weight and final tumor volume of the treatment were smaller than the control, P<0.05, and the rates of inhibition were 31.48% and 35.38% in the first and second group respectively. In first group, the tumor microvessel count decreased significantly vs control, P<0.01; in the second group, tumor microvessel count was reduced too, but it had no markedly difference compared with control. Conclusions Dexamethasone inhibits tumor growth in mouse H 22 model significantly. The inhibition may be correlated with the anti-angiogenic effect of dexamethasone, but when tumor has already grown to certain size, the efficacy is limited.

    • Preparation of Neonatal Rat Models with Cerebral Hypoxic Ischemia and Hyperglycemia or Hypoglycemia

      Abstract:Objective To prepare neonatal rat models with cerebral hypoxic ischemia (HI) and different concentration of blood glucose. Methods Based on the rich experiences of HI model preparation, neonatal rat models with both HI and hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia were prepared by either fasting or the injection of 25% glucose subcutaneously at different times and intervals. Results The HI neonatal rat model with hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia was successfully established, that matched up to the expectant design. The level of the blood glucose was as follows:were 5-7mmol/L in both normal control and sham groups, 3-4mmol/L in group with HI and hypoglycemia, 10-15mmol/L in group with HI and mild hyperglycemia, and 15-25mmol/L in group with HI and severe hyperglycemia. Conclusion The present preparation is feasible with stability, reliability,repeatability and for meeting the meeds of related researches well.

      Abstract:Objective To explore and make a rat model of sterility caused by chronic salpingitis. Methods Mixed bacteria were used for making the model. The morphology of oviduct was observed under both light and transmission electron microscope, and the pregnant result was also traced. Results and Conclusion\ The fallopian tubes of model rats were found with chronic salpingitis, and the rat model of sterility caused by chronic salpingitis could be successfully made.

    • A Lewis Rat Model of Endometriosis

      Abstract:Objective To set up a rat animal model of endometriosis. Methods Lewis rats were divided into three groups: 1. The uterine tissues of Lewis rats were autotransplanted to the surface of the peritoneal cavity and the mesenteries.2. The distal or the proximal uterine tissue squares of rat uterine horn were sutured to the peritoneal cavity. 3. The same fat squares were transplanted into the peritoneal cavity,then pathological changes were observed after four or eight weeks. Results No difference was noted in the area and survival rate between implant to the peritoneal cavity and that to the mesenteries(P>0.05). Uterine distal squares that were autotransplanted to the surface of the peritoneal cavity were larger and more easy to success(P<0.05). The endometrial implants in the rats became cystic structures that were composed of endometrial gland and stroma.The macroscopic and histologic appearance was consistant with endometriosis. Conclusion The autotransplanted surgically model of endometriosis would grow stably with easy success. It could be a suitable animal model.

    • A Rat Model of Right Ventricle Hypertrophy

      Abstract:Objective To evaluate the method of making a right ventricle hypertrophy model in rats and measure rats' right ventricular pressure by catheterization. Method Pulmonary artery banding was performed in male rats of approximately 250g. Right ventricle catheterization was carried out through right external jugular vein in order to monitor the right ventricular pressure and the relationship between this pressure and the degree of banding. Results Right ventricle hypertrophy appeared in all rats by six weeks of banding. The weight of right ventricle free wall was significantly increased(p<0.01). Marked pathological changes of ventricle hypertrophy were observed under light and electron microscope. Conclusion A right ventricle hypertrophy model was successfully created through our methods.

    • Establishment of SPF Rabbits Breeding Stock by Cesarean Section

      Abstract:Objective To establish a breeding stock of SPF rabbits for meeting the needs in scientific research, production and drug tests. Methods The rabbits were cleansed by cesarean section, and the baby rabbits were reared in isolators by artificial feeding. The weaned rabbits were given normal intestinal bacteria and then transferred into the barrier system. Results At present, there are about 100 SPF rabbits in the barrier system. With their pathogens examined, they are up to the standard of SPF rabbits in China. Conclusion The SPF rabbits breeding stock is established successfully by cesarean section.

      Abstract:In order to ensure the safety of genetically engineered mice, reduce the ammonia concentration in barrier system, and improve the working condition, we devised and installed one-way exhaust airflow racks. Through one and half a year running, it has proved to reach the anticipated design purposes.The whole system can not only maintain SPF environment that animals live in, but also the ammonia concentration and dust particles are reduced dramatically.

      Abstract:Tyzzer's organism is a flagellar, pilial, rod-shaped, gram-negative, sporeforming, obligate intracellular Clostridium. It abroad indwells laboratory animals, fowls, domestic animals, pets, and inhuman primates. Tyzzer's organism mostly causes diseases with hemorrhage, necrotic enteritis and little granule necrosized hepatitis in laboratory animals. Latent threatening has raised attention to human. Tyzzer's organism can autolyze and not be grown on conventional media with alive cells. These result in no broken improvement in biological characteristics, disease\|causing mechanism, genetics, diagnose and detecting methods of Tyzzer's organism, prevention and cure of Tyzzer's disease. This text makes a brief summary in biological characteristics, infection and spread, disease\|causing mechanism and pathology of Tyzzer's organism.

      Abstract:利用猪的器官来解决当前人源器官严重短缺,为解决移植器官短缺的可行的途径,直接并准确地对α-1,3半乳糖苷转移酶(a-1,3GT)基因进行同源重组,使a-1,3GT失活,再结合猪体细胞克隆技术,对其进行人源化改造,减弱或消除排异反应。然而,猪内源性逆转录病毒(porcine endogenous retrovirus,PERV)为异种器官移植的主要障碍。因此,既要剔除导致人类排异反应的排斥基因,又要确保猪器官异种移植的安全性。

In mice's intestine,there are nearly 100 million bacteria per gram dejection, which belong to almost 100 strains. The sorts of the bacteria are varied in different strains' mice.The researches about normal intestinal microflora of mice are reviewed in this article.
