1. Open Access
Chinese Journal of Comparative Medicine is an open access journal. Once published, all articles will be immediately and permanently available for readers to read and download free of charge. For details, please refer to “Open Access” page of this website.
2. Copyright Transfer
All authors agree to sign the Copyright Transfer Agreement, and upon acceptance of the submitted paper, the authors assign the copyrights of the article to the editorial office of Chinese Journal of Comparative Medicine, which includes but is not limited to reproduction, issuing, translation, compilation, adaption, and online dissemination. The journal has right to license the rights above to a third party. The articles contained in this journal, including charts and data, are protected by the Copyright Law, and no unit, individual, social organization and editorial and publishing department shall infringe on the copyright. If any infringement is found, the editorial department will file a complaint to the relevant departments and has the right to request the infringer or legal representative to bear legal responsibility.
3. Archiving Method
Since the first issue of 1991, all articles published by Chinese Journal of Comparative Medicine are open access works under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. After publication, these articles are immediately and permanently archived on the official website of the journal. All information is also backed up in the editorial office to ensure data security. All other related materials, such as additional information and forms provided by authors when submitting papers, are kept in the editorial office. The official website of the journal can realize the network first and priority online publication, authors can specify when submitting their manuscripts if necessary. After the publication of a new issue, the editorial office will send sample copies to China National Archives of Publications and Culture and National Library of China for preservation. Authors can search the literature through the official website of the journal, CNKI, Wanfang, Wipu, Chaoxing, China Laboratory Animal Information Network, etc.
4. Author Self-Archiving
Chinese Journal of Comparative Medicine allows authors to deposit all versions of their articles in an institutional repository or other knowledge repositories of their choice. However, it is required that the repository entries indicate that the article was originally published in Chinese Journal of Comparative Medicine.
