    Abstract:

Objective To observe the effect of autotransfusion in postoperative miniature pig. Methods 49 miniature pigs on operation were randomly divided into two groups, that is, there were 22 miniature pigs in normal control group to which nothing was transfused. The others were in the autotransfusion group, which was autotransfused in 3 hours. Results The survival rate of autotransfusion group was 81.5%, and survival rate of the control group was 54.4%, showing very significant difference between them(p<0.01).Conclusion It indicates that autotransfusion may be a useful way of increasing the survival rate in postoperative miniature pigs.
