Chinese Journal of Comparative Medicine has been reclassified as a core journal in the “Comprehensive Medicine and Health” category of the Chinese Core Journal Catalogue (2023 Edition, 10th Edition). This recognition is based on rigorous bibliometric analysis involving literature retrieval, statistical evaluation, and disciplinary expert review.

About the Evaluation Process:

• The 2023 edition research project commenced in October 2021 under the auspices of Peking University Library.
• 148 experts and staff from 32 institutions participated in the study.
• 9,473 disciplinary experts nationwide contributed to the journal evaluation process.
• Through quantitative screening and qualitative expert assessment, 1,987 core journals were selected from active Chinese academic publications.
